Our Philosophy
Benvolio means “well-wisher” in Italian, and it’s a sentiment we share with each bottle of wine we produce. It is our belief that there is no place on Earth that cherishes the inseparable relationship between wine, food, and joy like Italy. We craft our wines with this in mind and design them for life’s everyday celebrations.
The Friuli Region
Nestled in Italy’s northeastern corner, the Friuli region shares borders with Austria and Slovenia. Warm, Adriatic Coast breezes blanket our vineyards by day, while refreshing Alpine winds cool them by night. This unique climate extends the growing season, allowing our grapes to develop rich, ripe flavors while retaining their juicy acidity. We bottle our wines fresh to preserve their vibrant, fruity, and smooth character.
Sustainable Sipping
At Benvolio, we prioritize living in harmony with nature. Our Prosecco and Pinot Grigio are certified sustainable by SQNPI, Italy’s National Quality System for Integrated Production. SQNPI-certified wines are crafted with minimal external inputs, aiming for the smallest environmental and human impact while fostering balanced vines.
